A needed rest day had me out to Abingdon for sight seeing and artistic experiences. A great coincidence will get me to see a live performance of Murder on the Orient Express at the Barter Theatre. I went looking for other art.

I went to the William King Museum of Art. There was a permanent installation of a local SW Virginia artist, the late William A Fields. I will let the pictures do the talking.

I got over to a very old cemetery.

Big peace out Tres dog
Tres,
Was just in Abington two weeks ago and enjoyed the Barter Theatre’s production of Murder in the Orient Express and followed by dinner at the nearby Martha Washington Inn. Safe travels
New to me Don’t think I ever heard of This town. I’ll check it out in my atlas.

Wonderful art. Thank you for sharing.
Nice! Thanks for sharing. The art reminds me of the Highwaymen art here in Florida.
