Day 2-BAC-Fredericksburg, TX- Expresso route-28.7 miles and 1173 feet of elevation.

Big sleep and easy breakfast. Overcast skies allowed for shorter distances. It was a good game time call. Some houses and a church going out of town.

Lots of cattle grates

A little off route on Pecan Creek Rd. I experienced some misting. Just made me ponder.

Got back on route and stopped at Cherry Mountain School.

Some things need no explanation…

Back in town. Painting above the door at the post office.

I had a great German lunch of Jagerschnitzel, red cabbage and German potato salad. Gib! Walked town a bit and went to the Nat’l Museum of the Pacific War. Very detailed with lots of memorabilia. I will leave you with only one pic. Peace out Tres dog

Fat boy replica

  1. Nice pictures really enjoy them. Fredericksburg is worth Texas Dave lives coast to coast 2019 take care and have a blessed Easter

  2. Tres, this is truly a slice of the pioneer spirit as pictured in the houses. That Texas field stone is amazingly durable. Be safe and travel on….
