Day 15-Going-To-The-Road-to-the-Sun-Glacier National Park-31 miles with 1001 feet of elevation

The selfie featured image is Gayle, Ray and myself at the bench at “The Loops” parking lot.

It was to be a rest day but an avalanche in the route forced a west side ride and tomorrow an east side ride. I elected the second SAG for a little less route and later wake up meaning more sleep. I will let the pictures do the talking.

From the tunnel

A historic red car in front of the historic Lake McDonald Hotel. This has been a bucket list ride of mine for awhile. It was so beautiful it was a spiritual experience. Peace out Tres dog

  1. Beautiful pics. Great that you had the opportunity to experience this. Looks like a great ride so far. Give it hell!!😉

  2. Wow! Absolutely stunning. Interested to hear more about the avalanche. Yikes! Also, I bet there is some good fishing in those rivers. I loved the “waterfall” right out side the tunnel. America the beautiful, indeed! Enjoy it all.
    Ride on…
