Our C2C 2016 alums gathered up to ride together because we knew it would be a hard windy day. Sharing pulls out to Baby’s Coffee.

It seemed like the wind gusted up to 25+ mph in our faces. Niles Channel bridge was a taste of what to expect on 7 mile bridge.

We had a C store stop in Big Pine Key and we headed for Bahia Honda.

As you can see from the picture there were some clouds forming. We crossed the fairly flat bridge and the heavens opened up with the rain and the wind continued to whistle making the rain feel like smashing bugs on a windshield. We got to the end of the bridge and the rain stopped but we were soaked.

A really tough crossing of 7 mile bridge due to a hard, unrelenting wind pretty much right at us all the way across. Taking pulls on the bridge helped but, we stopped about a mile or so before the end to just stop the wind. A health food store lunch of salad and organic 3 bean chili. There is talk of forecasted rain tomorrow. Peace out Tres Dog
