Pensacola on the way to Cycle Zydeco in Lafayette, La

I did some work on the way out of town and began driving to Pensacola. It’s about 500 miles from Ruskin. I stopped in Monticello for gas and saw one of Bubba’s pink directional arrows. The tribe had just been through a few days ago. I saw the Dairy Queen, I stopped at on C2C in 2016 as I drove into Pensacola on I-10. Pensacola is really nice. My hotel Sole Inn.

I learned at the front desk the AA Pensacola Blue Wahoos were playing at home against the Mobile Bay Bears.

Beautiful stadium right on Pensacola Bay.

Fish and chips at the ballpark. Nice people and a great time. Slept and slept than did the 1 hour urban ride around on a sleepy Tuesday morning. Palafox, the main drag, intersected Wright St. and it Church row.

Went up to Jackson Hill neighborhood.

Downtown and the commission.

Peace out Namaste Tres

  1. Dawg! I love the architecture in these pictures – especially the Rex Theater. Also, did you sample thee BBQ from that little shack-it looked like it was on fire! And I hope you had a cup of coffee from Coffee Cup. Enjoy, be safe and I look forward to pictures from Louisiana.
    Love you,
    Gibby
