Arrival at my brother Joe’s house in the Bixby Knolls section of Long Beach. Beautiful day and plenty to do.
Now that the bike is together it was time for a 25-miler south on the LA river bike trail to downtown Long Beach, Belmont Shores and Naples to ensure a smooth running machine. 
A gorgeous bike trail in a dense urban center. Kayaking done in the more inland protected bodies of water.

Hi Tres, It’s Louise Gilbert again, this time on Craig’s nickel! Noticed the three stacks on the Queen Mary 1 near Long Beach I think. My parents came to England on the QM1 Lto visit us when Kyle (& all of us) were stationed there. Daughter Pam and family also spent the night on QM1 because her grandparents had come to England on it.
