A successful stay in Rifle as a way to get to my friends place in Gunnison National Forest via the Canyon.
I got to my friend’s house deep in the forest. OMG. I fed the trout in the pond. The next morning he coaxed me on a little walk to his bench overlooking the valley. His house is at 9500 feet.
Went to Gothic and town.
Super friends in a magical place. Hate to leave. Moose this morning at the mineral lick. On to Leadville.
