Great meal last night as, well. Cloudy and overcast so rain was the discussion at breakfast. I decided on .38 Special and was not disappointed.
A quick turn off route brought me to Pecan Grove.

Tres, It suddenly occurred to me why I am entranced by your journey and photos. While traveling throughout the US by car, so many of the sights and images would flash by and somehow catch in my memory. You have slowed it down to a pace that I can now recall and savor those moments. The familiarity is both joyful and haunting. Then of course there is your wonderful personal annotations that make it all sweeter. Thanks again. Traveling with you, but not slowing you down, AmL
