John and I were up at o’dark thirty to guzzle a cup of Cafe Bustelo, grab our snorkeling gear and head to the ferry to take us to the Dry Tortugas, 70 miles west of Key West.

John and I headed to the water on the south beach and got into the structures. Visibility was was not very good but some fish. No grouper today and only one Pompano that was good sized but, no pic. The coral near the light was the best stuff to photograph today.

A fairly easy boat ride home and gourmet pizza and salad. We are sacked. Early down and 50 miler in the morning after breakfast and a chance of liquid sunshine. Peace out Tres dog

Put in for the paddle.

John and I kitted up and away we went.

We paddled around, next and in between the bridges.

It was a great paddle. About a 7 mile open water round trip. On the way closer to the resort, we were followed on the left side of the kayak for a minute or so by 3-4 foot baby hammerhead shark. Missed the photo op. Only in the Keys. Another organic cafe soup and muffin lunch. So great! Back to the bike tomorrow. Over 7 mile bridge tomorrow morning and on to Stock Island. Peace out. Tres do
